Our crew selection standards are designed to qualify the best crew suited to the specific needs and requirements of our principals. Our dynamic and passionate recruitment team ensures that our seafarers have undergone rigorous screening procedures such as in-depth interviews, psychological testing, backgroud verification, and medical assesment together with other training requirements and certifications that may be required by our principals

We put hiring emphasis on proven experience and continuous training  on safety, environment protection, pollution control and upgraded maritime courses required by IMO. In addition, we maintain and update our database to ensure that crew changes and mobilization are planned well, and necessary adjustments are properly facilitated.

Crewing Training and Development

Seascorp is committed to crew development and skills upgrading. We formulate programs for our crew to improve knowledge and skills levels on various procedures and techniques used onboard and encourage them to get updated with the latest navigational aids, equipment and technology.

In addition to our in-house training programs, we also tapped respectable training schools in the country to ensure our crew are certified and trained under the standards of IMO-ISM-ISPSC and STCW.

A strong emphasis is also placed on behavioral and emotional skills training to help our seafarers cope with the highly stressful environment of working onboard and develop flexibility in relating to people form various cultural backgrounds.

Moreover, our training department provides English enhancement program to our seafarers to help them bridge communication gaps with a diverse crew onboard.

Allied Services

Seascorp serves various principals for cargo loading/discharging, crew change of their foreign crew nationals and vessel
lay-up in the Philippines. We act as protective agent for off-hire / on-hire delivery of vessels from any port in the Philippines.

Vessel Lay-up
In coordination with goverment agencies, we handle vessel lay-up, provide maintenance and repair for lay up duration and arrange vessel entry and exit formalities.

For initial agency cooperation, we establish cargo vessel information exchange for voyage or time charter in Asian ports. We source out cargoes inbound and outboound such as minerals, fertlizers, cement, rice, corn, sugar, steel, general cargo among others, and advise through fax, cargo particulars and required vessel laydays for freight idea and confirm vessel charter agreement or memorandum of agreement for client disposition.]

Also, we can supply estimated charges and ports facilities for reference. On solicitated cargoes, we can advise available vessel position. We will provide customart services required by husbanding, supervise loading and discharging operations, furnish water, ships provisions, emergency repairs and arrange payment of all charges that maybe imposed by the Philippine Port Authority on owner's behalf.

We will advise estimated port charges and cargo expenses for loading and dicharging prior to vessel's arrival. Likewise, facilities and estimated expenses for other allied services can be supplied upon request. An accompanying fax or e-mail appointment to us will confirm the arrangement.
