We put hiring emphasis on proven experience and continuous training on Safety, Environment Protection, Pollution Control and upgraded maritime courses required by IMO. Our system of crew selection goes beyond the usual process of personal interviews. We conduct thorough background verifications of candidates who are later subjected to psychological assessment by our in-house psychometricians and retained medical doctors. We maintain and update our computerized pool of seafarer’s to facilitate mobilization. Our dedicated Training Department places high priority on training and upgrading of our officers and ratings to keep them up-to-date on the current equipment and technology used on board ships. Besides our in-house training programs on IMO / ISM / STCW – 95, we are also affiliated with training schools: FAME Foundation, Maritime Training Center, Far East Maritime Foundation Inc., Excellence & Competency Training Center.
